Treatments For Acne

Isotretinoin is like an off switch for acne. In pill form, it turns down sebum production, shrinks oil glands, clears blocked pores, reduces inflammation and keeps bacteria in check.

Similar to Isotretinoin but in cream form, several other retinoids are available for patients who are unable to take Isotretinoin due to conditions such as mental health.

Antibiotics reduce inflammation and decrease the production of p. acnes. Suitable if you can’t take retinoids or you only have mild acne. Pill and topical creams available.

Suitable for females with hormonal induced acne who cannot take isotretinoin, this treatment targets hormone imbalance to reduce acne. Comes in tablet form.
